Kashe x Project Unnati
Kashe believes in not just providing a mindful shopping experience but also giving back to society for upliftment. We strive to support women and make the change possible. Keeping such a purpose in mind, Kashe has joined hands with Anahat for Change under Project Unnati supported by SVP India Kolkata chapter.
Project Unnati
The project aims at impacting the lives of 60 underprivileged women who are being equipped with the skills and knowledge to make reusable cloth pads and other feminine hygiene products in order to bridge the gap in the supply chain of subsidized sanitary products provided by the government in the target areas. Project Unnati not just improves the socio-economic conditions of the beneficiaries but also provides them the opportunity to spread knowledge in their community regarding sustainable menstruation and its advantages.
Anahat Cloth Pads are made of 100% cotton fabric, uses multiple layers of flannel as absorbents and PUL (laminated fabric) as leak proof lining. It's unique shape and size makes it a perfect product for women in the rural areas to use the pads without any stigma or shame. The pads can be washed and re-used for up to 3 years.

Kashe’s Role
Kashe has joined hands with Anahat to contribute towards sustainable menstruation and easy accessibility of feminine hygiene products in areas of West Bengal worst hit by the ongoing pandemic and Amphan cyclone. For every box of Kashe masks sold, INR 5 is donated to Anahat For Change Foundation towards distribution of re-usable cloth pads made under Project Unnati supported by SVP India Kolkata chapter. In addition to the contribution Kashe also helps in amplifying the voice of the project to make people aware and extend the positive impact. Helping and uplifting the society has been the guiding force behind every initiative of Kashe. With Project Unnati, we intend to keep the same purpose and educate teenage girls and women about feminine hygiene and sustainable ways to achieve them.
